Fresh Herbs, Tomatoes and Mushrooms Linguini Recipe


Fresh Herbs, Tomatoes and Mushrooms Linguini Recipe
Ingredients:

Linguini                           1 pound
Water                              4 quarts
Salt                                3 tablespoons
Extra Virgin Olive Oil    2 tablespoons
Tomatoes (Diced)         6 (small)
Onion (Sliced)               1 onion
Garlic (Minced)             2 tablespoons
Mushrooms (Sliced)     8 ounces
Tomato Paste               1/4 cup
Parsley (Chopped)       1.5 tablespoons
Basil (Ribboned)           1.5 tablespoons

Steps:

1. Rinse and prepare the ingredients as directed.



2. In Le Creuset 5 quarts Bouillabaisse pot, boil a pot full of water with
salt, follow the instructions of pasta package.

3. While the pasta are cooking, use LC flower pot (medium pot) heat up olive
oil over medium heat. Stir onion for 1 minute, then add garlic cook for 1
minute.

4. Add tomatoes in the pot and cook until the juice comes out.

5. 加入茄膏拌勻.

6. 加入蘑菇煮約1分鐘後熄火.

7. Mix in most of the herbs and stir well, cover for 2 minutes. (Leave a little
herbs for garnish)

8. Drain linguini, add some olive oil and stir well to avoid sticking.

9. Plate the linguini with some fresh herbs, tomatoes and mushrooms sauce. Add
some cheese if desired. Serve and enjoy.

    healthy and delicious, very sutitable for Summer. But we will have KFC tonite for dinner cos my daughter said this can release her pressure during exam period

    your husband is Italian, so he must have very high standards for pasta dishes. Are you going to make your own fresh pasta soon?
    [版主回覆06/20/2013 22:46:30]He expects the pasta in a certain way, and he loves homemade pasta. I rarely make fresh pasta for him thought. The more eggs, the better the pasta taste which require 4 or even 7 eggs, that are too many eggs in a meal. Plain pasta without egg is more like regular noodle, so I usually just buy them, haha. (I admit I am quite lazy about this one)

    好美味既意粉!不過我最近少食意粉,飯嗰d(我食Atkins diet),唔係就實跟妳食鐠煮^^

    6月初買了一包羅勒香草種子回家. 現在家里有30多棵快滿月的小羅勒BB. 等待買給喜歡香草作食材的朋友, 有一部份預留給家人和親戚朋友.
